Costa Rica Itinerary: Day 16 Monteverde, Santa Elena
First, let’s reveal some facts: Monteverde is a Canton (region), not a town. Within this region lies the Monteverde Biological Station and several other nature reserves. Santa Elena is the popular tourist town located within the Monteverde Canton. The population of the Canton of Monteverde is about 5000 people, with about half of that population living in Santa Elena.

Clean Up The Oceans, One Umbrella at a Time
It’s no secret that the world’s oceans are full of plastic and marine life is being killed at an alarming rate. But what can we do about it? Recycling helps but is not a complete solution. Most plastic never gets recycled and ends up in landfills or our oceans. What can we do to help clean up the oceans? Supporting small businesses that are actively creating products from ocean-bound plastic is one measure we can take or perhaps starting our own business to help clean up the oceans.

Podcasts for The FIRED (or Retired)
As I cross over into the “RE” (retire early) side of FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early), I’m finding my podcast listening habits are changing. Investing shows such as “Afford Anything” and “Bigger Pockets Money” no longer interest me, after all, you can only cloak discussions on “Should I invest in a traditional or Roth IRA”, “What are ways to Generate Passive income”, “Do I Have Enough to Retire” in so many ways, and then it gets old. Very old. I find myself very disinterested in ways of earning money and would rather listen to podcasts on living life to its fullest. What are the podcasts for the FIRED?
