Costa Rica Itinerary Day 6: The Osa Peninsula: Sierpe
After our walk, we headed out for a drive to explore the Osa Peninsula. We drove to Ciudad Cortes which was a surprisingly large town, but not all that interesting. After that, we drove to Sierpe. Sierpe is one of the jumping-off points for Corcovado tours. If we had had time we certainly would have taken a tour to Corcovado National Park the "Crown Jewel" of Costa Rica's national parks!

Costa Rica Itinerary Day 5: Tinamaste to Osa Peninsula
After spending an hour or two at the market we set off for the Osa Peninsula. We were taking the longer less traveled mountain route and would return along the coastal route later in the week. Per google, it would be approximately 2-hour drive.

Costa Rica Caribbean-Day 2: Manzanillo, Punta Uva and Puerto Viejo
Gandoca Manzanillo National Refuge After snorkeling, we drove the remaining couple of miles to Manzanillo, which is as far south as you can drive on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Manzanillo is a tiny fishing village of about 2 blocks in size, blink and you'll miss it! (Truthfully you can't, as it's the end of the road). Here we parked our car and headed for the entrance to Refugio Nacional Gandoca-Manzanillo.

The Striking Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica
