Costa Rica -An Intriguing Land…
Last Updated on April 1, 2021 by Carolyn
Ok a spark has been ignited, and intrigue is building. How can I not be intrigued by Craigslist ads that read as follows:
“1.5 acre Oceanview property in Tinamaste with view of tallest waterfall in Costa Rica. 30 Minutes to the beach and Pacific Ocean. Fire sale previously $80,0000, now $40,000 “
Or another ;
$80,000, 30 acres mountain farm with spectacular gulf views and waterfall (Nicoya Peninsula, Carmona) Magnificent views to village below and gulf of Nicoya. Gentle rolling hills, with open pasture above and some old growth forest. Small spring fed water source, fully fenced, great for horses...
Wally has also read about an eco-community that sounds really interesting, Osa Mountain Village, in the Osa Peninsula, a very wild and lush part of the country. The Osa Mountain video sure looks enticing, who wouldn’t enjoy a weekly fruit and vegetable basket delivered to your door, while living on 750 acres of jungle land with ocean and jungle views. So many possibilities…
OK perhaps I’m not sold on moving to a foreign land, but at this point, I am certainly interested in visiting. We have taken the plunge and purchased plane tickets for a three-week visit to Costa Rica in June.
